You are invited to join us in the village of Barnin (2.5 hours from Berlin towards Hamburg) to dance, connect, nourish and restore.

The mornings will be for Contact Improvisation, focusing on working through developmental movement patterns, finding effortless efficient pathways – and elastic, fluid transitions. With a view into how contact improvisation and movement can have regenerative effects on our body / mind and deeply influence how we choose to move through life.

The afternoons we will give attention to bodywork and hands-on practices, experiential anatomy through guided bodywork, and time to nourish, connect and restore together as a community – while supporting the sustainability of Liquid Space & Grounded Base.

Please choose the amount that feels honest and aligned with your current circumstances. All contributions offer the same experience and access.

€530 – Supported Contribution: for those who are navigating financial limitations or transition phases, or feel called to the space and need to move gently with their resources. No explanation needed.

€580 – Grounded Contribution: covers the actual costs of the retreat and supports the work in a fair and balanced way. This is the recommended reference contribution.

€730 – Solidarity Contribution: helps make the sliding scale possible, supports participants with fewer financial resources, and contributes to the long-term vision and continuity of this work. Offered as an invitation, from abundance.

Katja Richter studied Choreographie at the Academy of Arts „Ernst Busch“. In 2007, she received a scholarship for the choreographic exchange to Dartington College of Art in England, followed by an assistant to Ismael Ivo. Her choreographic work included, for example, productions at Hebbel am Ufer, Gripstheater, Berliner Festspielhaus and Tacheles et al. She choreographed music videos such as Dickes-B and Dancehall Caballeros of the Berlin band Seeed and let her performers in dizzying heights of 89 meters for the 50th anniversary of Gropiusstadt conquer the skies. As a stunt woman, she worked in more than 50 films, by Tom Tykwer, the Wachowski Brothers, Paul Anderson and Wolfgang Becker among others.
